What happened to Morvael?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

Oh! Great to hear nothing bad happened to him :). He was always a great beacon of light on items in the game along with yourself Denniss :)

Anyway I went off of this on the last time I saw him post which was 9/17/18.

He's posted in the development forum, which is why Dennis is seeing a different date.

Hello

I wish you all Merry Christmas. It's true I wasn't active here, but the last quarter of 2018 was pretty hard on me and my family. I was ill four times in a row on some kind of -itis thing (10 days of antibiotics for one of those cases), only to get completely other -itis thing that requires 30 days of antibiotics, and be diagnosed with one more -itis while doing some allergy tests (5 days in hospital). Meanwhile my daughter (2.5 years old) was twice in hospital where they thought she had yet another -itis thing, but it turned out to be house dust mites allergy. This resulted in thousands of dollars (in local equivalent) spent on various equipment to assist in cleaning our house and air in our house. As you can imagine these developments consumed me completely, so after a long development effort in August/September I was able to spend only one more week at the end of November, and the patch, while pretty advanced, is not ready yet. I hope 2019 will be a better year for me, and you, and WitE :)

Regards,
morvael

I was worried about you & looks I had a good intuition that something was amiss. It would be great to have you back but you and your family comes before everything else. Take care of both of those and the rest will fall into place. I hope all is better now and I wish you a Very merry Chirstmas too.

P.S. Morvael.... Dont catch any more -itis or -ish things ;-P

Hang in there buddy... Life has a way of giving and taking, but usually in balance.
It sounds like you have had your fair share of the downside, so you are due for some positive turns in the coming year.

Best Wishes, Prayers, and Warmest Regards to you and your Family this Christmas and in the coming New Year, Morvael !
