Seaborne Invasions

Post by ice_strength »

Seems abit far fetched, but in one of my games, the Japanese skipped Wake Island and Midway and went straight for Hawaii on the first two turns of war, and Hawaii only has a Corp and a Fighter unit there (because sending more would raise isolationist pressures). It takes 2 turns to Ship a land unit from the Pacific coast to Hawaii as well.

Maybe i missed something, but i think this should be tweaked somewhat. Seems a bit far fetched that Japanese Amphibious units could traverse that far in the Pacific ocean without a pit stop somewhere in between.

The Japanese are given way too much economy in my opinion and can do too much at once. The economy in general is too big for the map and allows too many units than can fit. I lowered it drastically in my game. Also lowered AP so things like this would not be possible.
