Hi

It is a bay surrounded by some islands. In game terms, if it has no Allied naval units in it when the UK finally surrenders then it will switch to Axis control.

It might be hard to script a transfer of ownership in other circumstances that would only fire when desired.

I see so no way to land forces there to take control? Just have to wait for complete British surrender?

Yes, in our War in Europe game we had it connected to the UK, which isn't geographically correct and led to complaints so I decided to have it accurately represented here... but you've found the downside to that.

Of course, if the UK has been lost then maybe there's not much left of the Royal Navy to use the base anyway?

Don't know about the WaW map, but couldn't you put a straights crossing arrow to it, similar to the ones in Italy/Sicily and Turkey/Istanbul?

Please leave it as it. Been there. You’d have to do an amphibious assault or an airmobile (airborne in WW2) assault to take it.

Should it be made an island then so that you can do so?

Better to leave it the way it is.
