Mouse Over Not Working In Combat Planning Window

Post by Icedawg »

In TOAW III, when I planned an attack, I could mouse over units and get their names, now I cannot do this - no unit name pops up. Is there some setting that I need to change to get this function back? It seems odd that the devs would eliminate this very essential function. When planning attacks, I want to use particular artillery units to bombard, but now, I'm just selecting blind.

Well it does show the current unit name in the bar at the bottom. But it would be much better if the Unit Panel on the right updated as we used the planner.

It would allow us to see crucial details to decide if a unit should be part of the combat or not, like health, strength, supply, readiness.

Found the problem. Just had to adjust the resolution on my computer. After some trial and error, I now can see the names of all units in the attack planning window.
