New Features and Rule Changes
- 1. Logistics Level (section 3.3.3) - Logistics help has been modified so it now impacts the following items:
[ul]a. Impacts the formulas that determine the amount of supply a unit receives based on its supply trace. (new)
b. Attrition suffered by vehicles during freight ops. (new)
c. The amount of attrition a unit suffers due to movement. (in prior versions)
d. The amount of fatigue added or removed from a unit during a turn (in prior versions)
e. The ability of leaders to conduct successful admin checks. (in prior versions)
3. Decreased chances for the very weak intercept flights to cause under attack enemy fighter-bombers to switch from BOMBER to SWEEP mission.
4. Added a check at end of the air phase to displace 0 CV units that are adjacent to enemy units.
5. Removed trailing spaces when creating new folders/files.
6. Improved battles site art appearance during the battle.
7. AI - Fixed AI to prevent certain Allied deep penetrations that took control of enemy hexes without actually moving units.
8. AI - Improved likelihood of units that are cut off to escape when the opportunity exists.
9. AI - Improved German AI to reduce the chance it would leave major gaps in a defensive line.
10. AI - Improved ability of German Ai to pinch off Allied penetrations where the flanks of the penetration were not covered by the Allies.
11. AI - Axis AI will send less units to the Italian Front than it used to in 1944-45.
12. AI - Improved Axis AI west of the Rhine.
13. Rule Correction - Note for the manual, there is no MP cost reduction for swamp at high ice levels.[/ul]
Bug Fixes
- 1. AI – Game freezes at 27% Axis AI turn in Torch to Tunisia scenario. Fixed.
2. Illegal crossing of ferry hex (to enemy controlled hex). Fixed.
3. Editor – Interface glitch with right units bar. Fixed.
4. A defending unit remained next to an enemy unit after it was depleted by a 2 hex bombardment attack. The unit should move away when depleted. Fixed.
5. Game can freeze in depot capture routine. Fixed.
6. Fixed crash in CR screen group TAB when pilot list was selected in Pilot sub-tab.
7. 8 key freight lines would draw a line to a unit/airbase that didn’t receive any freight but had a depot listed on the unit supply detail screen. Fixed. Note, HQs do not currently have freight lines drawn to them, we may change that for HQs that receive a shipment, but as far as I can tell lines have never been drawn to HQs.
8. Fixed find dialog ('h') when searching next air group.
9. Crash to desktop during AI in Torch to Tunisia. Fixed.
10. Axis AI could occasionally move a unit from the EF box west by mistake. Fixed.
11. Axis AI was sending some Axis units to 0,0 effectively taking them out of the game. Fixed.
12. Air execution entries in the event log in PBEM and Server games should not be cleared during the logistics, so entries during the enemy air execution should be visible in the log before friendly air execution and exported to the separate AirExecLog...txt file.
13. National supply sources adjacent to enemy are incorrectly still functioning and have 2.5 M freight. Fixed.
14. Fixed a problem where rebasing aircraft sometimes would not get air support squads transferred in when they should have.
