Couldn't do it. I tried with both 2.9.5 and then 2.7.0 and they both crashed.

Using the latest beta version (3.0.1.1) I could restore the game. However, supply calculations do take a long time. If the game keeps showing the calculations circle, try to keep it running. After a couple of minutes you get on slow computers a Mad Except (which you should ignore) or the game will start.

If not, you'll have to wait for the next patch...

yeah this game does slow down with supply! may have something to do with the 8K+ units in use!

JA 47... never seen so much stuff!! The western allies no longer have enough oil to run their units!

Not sure if that slow supply calculation is related to production, but I find if you have enough convoys to get all resources the production calculation is fast. If you don't, the production calc can take 20 minutes on my mid-grade 1 year old computer...
