Can't deploy resupply ship

He will stop, undeploy, and go to refuel at a neutral planet in that system. And its tank is full… I don't know what to do any more.

Is the ship set on Auto or Manual? I've noticed similar behavior when I leave them on Auto. I go to refuel my attack fleet only to find the Resupply ship I had deployed at the start of the war is now half way back to my main spaceport. All because I left it on Auto setting! [:D]

I don't do auto, except for the exploration ships. But thanks for the help !
I finally found what the problem was. The ship was in a fleet. And I deployed it to enable them to refuel, because they were pretty much empty in the first place. It seems like it was as much a ship as it was a sheep: the others wanted to refuel, so it came along. To a planet that had no fuel… [:(]
I removed it from the fleet, and everything went back to normal, also I had to convince the herd to wait for the deployment.

Glad you figured it out. After I read your last post I remembered that it was for the same refueling issue as to why I don't include them in fleets. See this thread:

You also should set its stance to "Attack only when attacked". Otherwise, it will undeploy as soon as an enemy is in Stance reach.
