a map with a crowd of units ...

Post by rob89 »

Where is the damn 'Nelson' BB?

why not a search function by unit name / unit type? [:)]

It could be very useful!

Maybe it's sunk! Seriously, that would be cool feature. HotKey and search box shows up. Yet another thing that would be even more useful, is HotKey on the World map by unit type. Press 'f' to see all your fighters, press 'u' for all the submarines, press 'c' for all carriers. Knowing where all my fighters are on the map would mentally help for air coverage.

In the "Losses" section of reports, there's not much room for more detail, but knowing which ships have been sunk has some (well little) importance. Tracking those special kills for glory purposes.

I would love a feature whereby only specific units (selected by type) could be displayed on the map...the same way partisans can be with the 'P' hotkey. I don't know how difficult this would be to implement, but I find it annoying when I have to look over the map for particular units that I need to find.
