No downer comments here.

I dont have MC for only one reason, lack of funds.

But when you consider how I feel Steel Panthers already has several metric tons of icing (and its all free icing), I am merely plagued more successfully with other financial needs around my house.

So I am assuming that a new person might think there was soooomething wrong looking at all the negative sounding posts. Heck I see that effect on TV as well its the lunatic fringe (or people that god gave the gift of compaining to I suspect).

If you havent been playing Steel Panthers, why the heck not!!!
What are you looking for 101% still?

I can say Steel Panthers is so damn great I cant seem to find time to play anything else. (and I am not known to say those sort of kind words I normally reserve only for real wargames, I am a board gamer first and last eh).

Are there any other great games out there? how should I know, to busy playing Steel Panthers to care. If you dont like Steel Panthers, you are to hard to please.
I LIKE that my life bothers them,
Why should I be the only one bothered by it eh.

I must whoeheartedly concur with Les. There's no excuse not to have this game. As a long suffering gamer who has had neither the time nor opponents to play ASL against, this game was truly "mana from heaven". As a retailer of like product I can state that no other game on the market has attracted my attention away from SPWaW. I was so certain about this game, that I ordered the MC after just looking at a few opening set ups in some of the scenarios without actually having spent any time playing the game and I don't regret a dime of that purchase. It has actually rekindled my interest (which had been waning) in my hobby of 30 yrs, wargaming. In fact, Matrix has 3 or 4 other upcominng titles that will find there way to my mailbox very shortly after release. Keep up the great work!!! :D

I agree.
I've owned every single Steel Panthers to date, and the latest version of Steel Panthers: WAW out shines them all. In fact it out shines most war games available on PC's.
