Spain

Post by pjg100 »

There is no pro-Axis mobilization bump to Spain from the surrender or Vichyfication of France. I think there was in WIE. Seems that it will make it exceedingly difficult to boost Spain from 8% up to 60%, assuming the Brits counter German/Italian diplo. I think it would make sense for Spain's pro-Axis leaning to be increased by Vichy, and even more by outright French surrender. Would also provide an additional incentive to go all in on conquering France.

Thoughts?

Good spot about the Spanish scripts for when France surrenders.

I'm not sure that the fall of Vichy had any effect on moving Spain towards the Axis though, I think other factors played a much bigger role?
