Move Mortars and AA

It seems that i can t move small Mortars and AA etc...…. If i m on a big map they don t get into enemy rage etc...…...

Is that Right???? And why?????

You can move self-propelled mortars or self-propelled AAs = AAs in vehicle or mortars in vehicle. Otherwise, most of them will not be able to move during game, or very slow if they can be moved during game. Other support tab units are the same.

No, it ain't right but currently they are immobile in the game.

I made my UK (infantry) 81mm mortars mobile in the database. Its a bit unrealistic the amount of ammunition they carry manpacking. But, if they are following along behind an infantry company etc then you can assume the company carried the ammunition and dumped it on the mortar line prior to a deliberate attack as would happen in reality or dropped by helicopter. Alternatively, the ammunition scale could be adjusted, but, they would not have much ammunition at all, 10 man section, probably 20 to 40 rounds. The sprites do not show the mortar section moving, but it is the only way you can do an advance to contact without have to use vehicles. Also, it is the only way you can move a mortar section escape from being destroyed by any enemy that may be advancing towards them.

I think I also did same with Milan sections.

Many of the support units don't have transport vehicles because it would be extremely hard to make the AI opponent use them properly.
