Modding, creating a third alliance

Hi, first have to say this is an amazing game and enjoying it immensely. I've been playing around with the editor, I'm looking to remove the USSR from the Allies. I know I can have them as neutrals but then I can't select them to play. Is there a way to create a third alliance? Thanks in advance for an advice and the creation of a great game.

Sorry, there are only two sides plus neutrals [:(]

So you are either Allied, Axis, or Neutral.
