A tad more specific, please? Did you also ask the devs in the CS Middle-East forum?

Why don't you just do a complete game reinstall? That will surely recover the frontend for you.

Yes, a reinstall is definitely the way to go.

Id love to install it fresh, but, I havn't seen my Ef disk in,,,,a decade at least..

If there is a fix it would be most appreciated....the game exe , edit exe map edit exe and org exe will work once after I restart my computer, then, if I close out of say a game or editing, and attempt to edit again or start the game again I get a frontend error message ( I'd reproduce it here but I am at work)

The other thing you could do is redownload the latest update and install that. That will have the latest front end available.

If you haven't been playing JTCS 2.02, you are in for a great experience.

You can control the animation speed of both sides with a variable slider for instance.

I always disliked the restriction of the two-speed option: fast or slooow.

Keep in mind, that might not work, unless your disc was the Matrix disc.

If it was the JTCS disc's, you'll have to find somewhere that has the original TALONSOFT updates/patches.

If you can't find those, I'd recommend buying the Matrix version.

For what it's worth, you can still find patches for the old Talonsoft version in the downloads area over at The Blitz.

Jason; well first, you're right of course.

I went to the products page DLed the 'new' packaged tiller camp series and there is no front end, I installed it on my work computer to check....

I will do what nw07421 suggested and try that...

thx very much jason, I didnt see this in time, so I did some housecleaning and searching and found an old disk loaded ef/ws/rs folder on an external drive I had in the back of my desk drawer...

I was pleasantly surprised though at the suppleness of the old talonsoft system, I was able to save my scn file, oob and map I had created for my own scenario from the version that wouldn't run, , dropped it in the ef folder I just found and had transferred to my laptop drive and, it works.........
