Patton as vince McMahon

Post by gators »

Fellows and Ladies, I know very little is sacred in the wonderful wworld of rasslin' but last night the chief shill compared his boss to George S. Patton. I should know better but I was genuinely offended. Georgie deserves better.

George S. Patton is a true hero. So are men like Churchill, Eisenhower, McArthur, and Montgomery. When a pro wrestler drives a German army from the interior of France all the way to Germany, believes in American and democratic ideals, realizes that life in a peaceful world matters more than anything, then we'll talk.

I've always been intrigued about the way that wrestlers make themselves appear like superhumans.. never been convinced, just intrigued.. hey I'd do it if they paid me as much!!! :D

Ok, back on topic.

When I said life in a peaceful world meant something to Patton, it was a little tounge in cheek

You're right, equating Patton with someone like that debases everything he did for the US and for the rest of the world.
