Mission time limit

Is there any way to override a mission's time limit (dependable on the number of objectives, I know), but small selected areas allow only one-two objectives? It's not Command & Conquer after all... It's irritating as hell when mission ends in the middle of a fight.

When generating the mission, you can increase or reduce Victory Points and accordingly you will increase or reduce Estimated time limit.

Number of VP depends on the area size chosen,small areas allow creation of 1-2 VP's only - time is a way too short.
