land movement & combat

IN WITP will you be able to do a merrill's mauraders type land movement across any hex or will it be like in PACWAR where you could only go along certain paths? Just wondering & liked the map of India/Malaysia.

Right now you can move into or across any hex, however, you can only build in designated hexes (the ones with dots). The map is huge, so it would be almost impossible to let the player build in any hex. Having said that, keep in mind we are only in the Alpha stage and I am not in on all the plans.

Hi, Land units must be within a certain range of supply path to move. (so there are a few places units can not move)
