Making River hexes "straits" to induce combat?

Post by Dili »

When i played(against Fred) in China with ships up the Yangtze the Chinese LCU seem to not have intercepted/responded my ships with their units, i am thinking if making those hexes "small strait" might induce combat. Anyone experimented with this.

I had the same issue some years ago. I tried to add several historical coastal batteries along Yangtze river (source https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic ... it=yangtze) but my coastal guns never engaged the ships. I have tested several hexes modification but i cannot remember the details. I have written some posts here but i cannot find them anymore. It was in 2016 i think.
Not sure this can help you [:)]
