Thank you. It's been along time on the table. I don't really like the painting - stresses me out.

Nicely done dear.

I'm a fan of the same paint brand too.

Excellent! Nice work! When do we get to test it with firecrackers and the bb-gun?

[yeah, that's what happened to my model collection]

Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

Thanks for sharing. A very nice looking model - with an excellent finish. Did you spray paint it to get a finish like that?

Thanks all.

Tamiya paints are superb, though I do occasionally dabble in Vallejo.

I always spray now. Once you spray it's impossible to go back.

My daughter bought me this a couple of years ago as a Christmas present and it's sat in my stash. Earlier this year, I decided to start on it - with some trepidation because it's the biggest model I've ever made. It's been slow for various reasons, but it got there in the end.

Revell kits are normally quite bad in fit...but this went together pretty well.

Beautiful job.

Did you have to spray the Bussard Collector Intakes or did they come as clear red plastic?
They look to be transparent.

I’ve always wondered why there appears to be fins on the Warp Core Nacelles?
They don’t appear on the original technical drawings.

They must have been added during retrofit to maybe stabilize the warp field.
Or, maybe a part of the Post-Stage Flux Tuner assembly?

Did the stand come with the model or did you create that your self?

Maybe they added the fins after the ship went into the atmosphere . . .

It came with the model. I thought it was a cracking addition myself.
