Transferring A/C from a damaged carrier

I had a CVE with more than 50% combined sys and flt damage yet I could still transfer A/C off the carrier. At the time the CVE was at sea. If the CVE was in port with a functioning airfield then transferring them makes sense. Never tried tranferring A/C onto it.

I've not played this game since Nov because I've been too busy. I'm very, very pleased with how it plays now, all those irritating little bugs and game rules (mines, routine transports and ground units etc) have all disappearred. Can't wait for the full Pacific game.

You should only be able to do that if you are in port....do you have a save for me?

yes I can transfer in port, but I could also transfer at sea? Since then I've had another CVE with over 50% damage that I could not transfer at sea, but worked fine in port. Soory I don't have a saved game.

So far I've only been able to do this in port and never been able to do it at sea as you reported had happened to you once. Shame that you don't have a save. I'll be on the watch for this though. Thanks for the report.
