can you upload your report so i can see why it's not working as default?

Matrix

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then permitted to attach to the forum.

What is your frame rate? SHIFT+Q will show it top left. Disabling Ground Clutter and/or reducing the shadow quality in the options will give the biggest performance improvements.

https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/ ... -4600.html

is the latest drivers for the VGA chip

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/h ... 4600.c1953

depending on what chip is in the machine your running, eg laptop for a wild guess, as without a report i'm guessing, the memory of the unit is shared, which seems rather odd in a I7 cpu with 16gb of ram installed, so a report would help more than just a line of text given / supplied

Yes, with that card you are going to definitely need to reduce some of the quality settings.

That is likely to feel a little laggy yes. Turning off ground clutter is likely to be the biggest win on that card.

I disabled Ground Clutter and the Shadow + set the resolution to 1380x768 = Fps 27-30
Now it's more playable. Thanks

The game really needs an option to change the mouse sensitivity AND the scroll wheel sensitivity. I now need to scroll-scroll-scroll-scroll-scroll a lot to get the view to change.

Yes, I am aware of that. That setting does not change the map zoom speed when using the mouse wheel nor the mouse cursor speed (mouse sensitivity).

The zoom speed alters both the keys and mousewheel for zooming. If you are not seeing any change it could be that the game is running too slowly and hitting the checks to ensure that zooming isn't to jerky. Use SHIFT+Q to see your FPS and reduce some of the graphics settings to get a smoother framerate.

If you mean periodic pauses in battle this is a known AI stall that we are working to address. Sorry for the hassles.

I checked and the game had a stable 60 FPS. Reducing the AA and shadow quality did not improve the FPS so I suppose it has vertical sync enabled, which is fine.

The update you just released seems to have added a scroll speed setting (I really hope it was added and I didn't just miss it earlier?!). I turned it to the max and the situation got a lot better. I could still use maybe "100%" more speed but the current max of 500% made the game at least playable. Thank you!

The scroll- and zoom- speed settings were present in the initial release, but glad they are helping with your issues.

Hi Pip,

Can you see anything from this attachment that may be causing my jerky mouse?

Hi Pip,

You need to send the TXT report it generates, not the screenshot [:)]. But if you hit SHIFT+Q in battle you will see the framerate you are getting. Try disabling Ground Clutter or reducing shadow quality in the options to improve performance (you need to restart the battle to see changes to shadow quality).

Cheers

Hi Pip,

Sorry, I am computer illiterate. When I SHIFT Q it says fps:5. A bit later it said fps 6
