Support unit history and stats not carrying over

I noticed that support units are not keeping their earned battle experience and combat history. Its frustrating to develop an anti-tank gun, only to have it reset after battle.

Support units do not carry over during the course of an Operation or Campaign. See 9.3 in the game manual.
