In the referenced instance,

it appears my opponent has prevailed,
but the game simply stopped abruptly:

No end-of-game file,
no message, no email that the game ended,
no nothing.

It would be nice to be able to get an end-of-scene .pbl file, at the very least.

There is no way to view the final result (that I know of) in the current system state.
