recon of ships in port at Noumea

Now, when you put your mouse over a base icon, you can get a report of the number of ships in port.

But for Nouméa (and Truk?), it seems that the number shows "ships in port" AND "ships in transit to Nouméa" !

I never keep ships in Nouméa, but my opponent tells me his recon in force shows him 80 (!) ships in port with a CV and CVL (but it is true that they are due in a few days).

In a other game, the recon always shows me a lot of CA BB... in Nouméa and the number never change but i gets the feeling that there was nothing in port because my CV TF never attacks anything with port attack.

That's very interesting. I'll have to test this out when I get home.

I wonder if it has anything to do with...

1. Ships whose home port is Noumea. (and/or)
2. Ships on auto-convoy based at Noumea.

In one of my PBEMs Nomuea is empty and I will ask my IJN opponent to fly a recon mission and tell me if he has the same problem....
