North Africa Screenshot request

Post by Dgold »

I enjoyed the viideo link and the manual - thanks.

Could one of the testers please upload a screen shot of the Libya - Egypt theatre? I am curious how the terrain is portrayed -eg Quattara Depression.

Thanks

Are there impassable hexes limiting movement to the North African littoral area because of the Qattara depression?

I suggested a more dynamic pattern for the Qattara Depression. Maybe in a later build. But, yes they are impassable. it's those slightly darker brown hexes SW of Alexandria.

There is a choke point of only one hex and only two on either side. Don't worry it works quite well even if it doesn't look too imposing.

This was my suggestion.

I find the graphics of the wargame North Africa 1941-42 by Worthington Publishing very successful to represent the Qattara Depression:

Very nice gaphics! I'd vote for that one.

I actually visited the Qattra depression at the same time that Isreal and Egypt were sighning the peace accords. They loved Americans then.
