I got a weird error message, and now it seems to have vanished.

Clicking on Mandrake's name says he hasn't posted in months.

Just a software upgrade in progress...close your eyes, click your heels 3 times, and say "We believe in Matrix".

It’s one reason I don’t spend a lot of time posting to the forums anymore.

Okay- at least SOME of it is still there... when I clicked on the saved location, I got an ASP 500.100 error (whatever that is)...

When various versions of The Thread vanished, the whole thing usually was gone.

This seems to be much worse than the usual forum crash. Normally, a thread gets totally or partially deleted, and they say they will look at it, but nothing seems to happen.

However, in this case, it seems to have singled out Mandrake and deleted all his posts after a certain date, and this happened in whatever thread he posted in - not just one big thread that got too ungainly for the forum software.

Not sure if Mandrake is ABLE to post at this point. Perhaps he just got disgusted after this happened? Usually when people get that mad, though, they leave one last message or someone is in touch with them and word gets back.

Has anyone heard from Mandrake? [&:]

Have any of the mods commented on this?

One would think that with all the good free publicity that Captain M. has generated (causing interest in the game, and presumably increased sales) it might behoove Matrix to address this problem in some positive fashion.
