Airports in Albania

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Airports in Albania

Post by Mappo »

Hi everyone, I am playing a 1943 campaign as Allied and today I noticed that after the Italian armistice three airports in Albania (Scutari, Tirana and Koceve) became allied airports. I don't think the Allies have ever had airports in Albania.

Without looking at my references, I'm sure a few RAF fighter squadrons flew ops from Vis.
The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.
