Wrong progress at Sbiba (German player)

Post by Bivoj_MatrixForum »

Playing as Germans the Sbiba operation
After Decisive Victory at Sbiba Ridge, I closed the game; next day, I opened the game again and hit continue: instead of progressing into Sbiba Town, I was moved to Counter-attack map and the operation map was presenting the previous 2 maps as allied secured (as if the allies woud win the Sbiba Ridge).

Also, the "attack" screen was corrupted, I was not able to choose the time of the attack anymore, the text below the options was corrupted (it seemed as 2 types of texts overlaping each other).

So, my progress is lost and I had to play it again from the start...

Did you quit the game on the Debrief screen?

Do you have the original saved game that is in this state? If so, please post it on Dropbox or another file sharing service and I will take a look at it. Saved game files are in your Windows documents folder under My Games\CloseCombatTheBloodyFirst\Saves\.

Thanks!

Thanks Bivoy - do you recall if you quit the game from the Debrief Screen?

Sorry, I am not sure in which time I quit. Most likely I opened the next mission screen with the selection of desired progress in attack (i.e. hasty attack, slow attack, night attack and dawn attack) and quit there, but I am not 100% sure.
Btw. I do not know when it is safe to quit to get the game saved... it would be helpful to have some kind of notification.
