How do things work when Axis capture Gibraltar ?
Can you stop ships/convoys passing through the straights if you occupy Tangier and Gib ?
Or does it work to put a load of aircraft on Bomb Naval ?
Or stick the Italian fleet in Gib ?
The lark, signing its chirping hymn,
Soars high above the clouds;
Meanwhile, the nightingale intones
With sweet, mellifluous sounds.
Enough of Stalin, Freedom for the Ukraine !

If you control the port you control the passing of units. It is the lock between the Atlantic and Med. Pretty simply. In reality it was the RN that stopped the the Axis from going through not minefields along with there was no recon there so the Axis could never tell what exactly was there. I debated if I should have ships stop other ships or not. I decided with the simple approach. You hold a port the enemy can pass by it.

As is the Allies don't let pass any resource convoys through the med.
