Discover the Manual

Post by Daniele »

Command: Modern Operations will be the most advanced military-simulator available in the market, taking all the features from its CMANO predecessor and expanding them greatly, both in number and quality.

An indication of this massive leap forward is the over 300 pages Manual, that will constitute the best learning tool for every Commander willingly to rightly manipulate the battlefield.

If you are eager too what to expect in-game, your wait is over. The full Manual is now available as PDF, and – as promised – it covers everything you need to know about CMO!

From introducing the game to newcomers and beginners to detailing the new exalting features and mechanics dreamed by CMANO veterans, this Manual will blow your mind.

You can find the manual at this link, in the Download section of the Product Page and its Steam page.

IMPORTANT. Due to the great amount of content, the Manual that will be included in the box at release will be a shortened version (210 pages). The full (350 pages) E-Book Manual will be included in the installer or available in the Product Page.

Thanks Daniele/Dimitris & rest of team! You're doing a perfect job with this and interviews. I'm sure the game will be a great success!

Be sure to make some big box edition (if possible) !

Dev Team,

Thank you so much for this early present. I am sure that those of us that are CMANO veterans will find it useful.

This is such an amazing bonus for everyone.

This manual is great! I printed out the whole thing (minus the title page) and put it in a brand new 3 ring binder.

The detail is excellent, and I especially like the several explained examples from real warfare history of certain concepts.

The only thing I will point out is that, unlike the previous release's manual, there is no table explaining the unit symbols and colors.

Now I understand that the Stylized icons are the default, but for those newer players who choose the NATO/NTDS icons for whatever reason, it would be nice to have such a chart available.

In fact, I think it would actually be best to have it as a separate document to have handy as a reference sheet, perhaps with a hybrid or companion chart comparing the stylized and NATO icons to show what the icons mean across the two different settings.

Thanks for sharing the manual, dev team!

I've picked up on ways to be a better C:MANO player from it, and it got me more excited for C:MO's release!

Is there a reason the font is so large? You're only able to fit like two paragraphs to a page, which is why the page count is so high. Makes printing it out much more difficult.

My guess is the manual is prepared for A5 format to put it inside standard dvd-box...which makes me sad a bit cause I really miss 90s big boxes with games.

Thank you for the opportunity to get an early look at the manual.

Has there been any thoughts towards a strategy guide?
