Fire support

Post by Markowicz »

On two separate battles in Sbiba operation, the OpFor had artillery/mortars despite them not being listed on the briefing.

Doesn't it make for a more interesting battle if you don't know whether the Opfor has off-board artillery or not? IMO, it does. in fact, during Beta testing, I suggested only displaying artillery support for the Opfor when in multiplayer.

So, you just want to accept the fact that your intelligence officer sucks, right?

If you have the 'normal' enemy info option set you'll only see when the enemy has air and/or naval support. If you have 'full' enemy info set you will see when the enemy has mortar and artillery support too. If you have limited enemy info you don't see either.
