Allies abandoned Tunis & Algiers.

Post by MOS96B2P »

Great game. I completed the 1939 campaign as the Germans playing the original version (v1.00.00). I thought I should mention something I observed with the AI so it could get looked at (from reading the forum I think most everything else has been reported).

Italy & Germany were holding southern Tunisia against the Allies who were attacking from northern Tunisia. Then on one turn (sorry I don't recall the month/year) the Allied forces quickly withdrew back north. They showed up again invading southern France and then Sicily. Their invasions were well executed. But to my surprise they did not leave a single unit in Tunisia or Algeria. There were maybe six Allied units in the western area of Morocco. Many of the units in western Morocco were air units. This of course left northwest Africa wide open for the Axis.

Just something to put on the list to take a look at.
