Terrain Attributes

Warplan is a World War 2 simulation engine. It is a balance of realism and playability incorporating the best from 50 years of World War 2 board wargaming.

Terrain Attributes

Post by Michael T »

@Alvaro, the Terrain chart should show the same type of combat modifiers you are using in the game. For example the in game
modifier for hills/rough says 1.25 in the combat log and 1.3 in the Info Panel (I assume rounding here). But the Charts shows -20%. I realize
that -20% for an attacker is the same as x 1.25 for the defender, but really the table should be consistent with the in game info.

This was a design decision based on a variety of factors including data assimilation, visual representation, and the amount of data shown. You are the first to even mention the difference.
