Airfields

I'm going to do some mod in the game about the airfields. I going to remove the airfield from woods and clear terrain to make the buildable airfield more important assets.
My question is if the ai can handle that situation and building airfield if needed?

If you are saying A.I. can't handle airfields you are correct. You would have to manually script a $ChangeResource and set conditions and make it AIOnly. Of you can just place airfields when disabling clear and woods.
