yugoslavia coup question

first time playing through and was wondering if the allied coup in yugoslavia happens in an "event" type incident or does the axis have to invade even though they are axis leaning? its dec of 40 and hungary and romania have just joined the axis. i have my troops along the boarder and am waiting for the coup so was wondering if i need to invade or wait. thanks.

You do not need to wait for the Coup to invade Yugoslavia.

The 'coup' is just the signal that it won't side with the Axis in case Greece falls before Yugoslavia.

so unlike strat. command yugo will not enter the war unless attacked? guess i will have to invade if i want to get to greece over land. thanks.
