My page - Game Serial Numbers

Post by blastpop »

Are serial numbers bugged on games I purchased in the past? I went to install a couple games at work for lunch time gaming, went to the my page on the Matrix site, download and when I put in the serial number I receive a bad serial number dialog. So later at home I manually put in the serial numbers from my receipts and I get an invalid serial number result. It appears all my Matrix/Slitherine games are not working that I purchase in the past directly.

Is anyone having similar problems? These games are older like Kharkov, Carriers at War, all told at least a dozen games.

Suggestions?

Make sure you type in the serial number in manually via the keyboard and not to copy and paste the serial only you could be copying not only the serial number but the white spaces on either side of the serial number.

When I copy/paste a serial number, I will first copy it to a text editor like Notepad. Then I can make certain I copy it without any of the whitespace that you can get from copying it from the numbers on my account.

Which game is it for. I think there may be some very old games from before Slitherine M matrix merged in 2010, where we had a Matrix installer with only Matrix serials and Slitherine one with only Slitherine. Depending on which installer made it to members area some serials would not work. We tried to fix them but there may be some we missed that need a bit of support help to get you up and running. It would only affect games released before 2010, and where Slitherine was the developer.

I had an issue with War in the West, reinstalled, that didn't work.

Then Matrix sent me a registry cleaner that cleaned up that game only and it worked after that. Maybe that is the issue.
