Patch 1.04 has arrived

The long wait is over. It is here [:)]

The launcher warned me a newer version was available. I tried to update using the update client, but as always this failed.

So instead I downloaded the patch from "My Page" under my Matrix account and this file installed without a hitch.

Upon starting the game I received an error however, something in the line of "option file corrupt". After that there was a blank screen and it was unresponsive. I had to kill it using the windows task manager.

Restarted the game and presto, now it started normally. I hope nothing was corrupted along the way, but all seems to be working well. Still a bit odd though...

Anyways, let's play.

and i got an options file corrupt error just like you. it states it is recreating it.

then restarting fixes it. pheew.

I just had a similar issue. The fix was to play the game on my administrator account. Of note, the game would not work if I changed my compatibility settings to "Run this program as administrator". I actually had to run the game using my administrator account.
