Does one of the scenerios play out the entire war? or just bits and pieces? The game seems to be pretty complex to play one week pieces here and there. can't really set anything up.I"m thinking the complex nature might be for multi only. lmk, thanx.

The longest scenarios of UV are scen 17 and 19 which cover from May 1, 1942 to Dec. 31, 1943. So no scenario of UV covers entire war.

Although you could change the dates around, at least during the time frame covered in these long sec's are the time frame when battles historicaly happened in the game area.

I see UV as a microcosm of the entire Pacific war.
Maybe it could be seen as a beta for Matrix's WITP.

With opposite sides holding bases in close proximity eg Shortland and Lunga, you can pretty much end up with as many battles or more than what happened in the entire war.

Numerous clashes by surface fleets racing up and down the slot.
Heaps of fun but not 100% realistic.
In reality, the slot would be unnavigable due to hundreds of shipwrecks blocking passage.:D
