Grey path in the Dessert - bug

Post by Meteor2 »

I just send German corps to help the Turks to liberate Bagdad.
The path of the corps remained grey and not the brown colour of the desert.

That is likely to show German control of those hexes.

Probably, you are right.
I was only astonished, because it was beginning at the border of Turkish territory towards Bagdad.

This is because Mesopotamia starts as being (in engine terms) surrendered to the Ottoman Empire, therefore it is liberated by the Entente taking Baghdad.

Any subsequent movements by Central Powers units will then follow the normal coding whereby their conquests hand that territory to the unit that last moved through them, in this case the Germans.

A grey path in my dessert usually means the whipping cream has gone bad.
