how do u find value of each trade route?

How does one know what each trade route is providing. Example, as Germany i cant seem to see anywhere what im getting from norway each turn..So if i lose some merchants during a turn how did that affect income?

If you click the convoy and Escorts button (second one on the top) you get this screen.

The list of all convoys is on the left and possible convoy routes are on the right.

This tells me I am getting 10 and 13 from Sweden. If you click the brown down arrow for the 10, it takes me to Stockholm....this is lend lease from Sweden. If I click the 13, it takes me to the 30 iron in the north...so that is what is transported through the Baltic convoy line (because it isnt winter) which is shown as the active convoy route on the right.

The three at the bottom are supply going to ports. And the Italy one is me giving the Italians 10 oil. You can 'x' it to cancel it.

Also hovering over a convoy route on the map will give you the name and resources going through it.

Hovering gives the name of the route...but it always says 0 resources

Ah i see, you can hover over the route...then compare it to your trade screen and see what belongs to what. nice

I have a rail connection and there is no water route available. This is for 1.00.04.

Yes exactly. I made a trade deal with Italy to give them 25 production and 25 oil. The game gave me a message that I did not have enough merchant marine. Eeeeh, we share a border with rail lines. Why the message? This is with 4d.

Hmmm, broken is too strong a word I think. Look at this:



It seems the trade deal with Italy was made after all, despite the message telling me it wasn't possible due to lack of merchants.
So a bug yes, but not broken it seems.

Update: in later turns this message no longer appears when initiating a trade with an Axis minor.

I'll take a look. This might be a flag that checks and I forgot to turn it off for overland trade.

I just checked out the Romanian issue. It didn't show the message for me.

Only thing I can think of is that you got hit with a few partisan attacks in the right spots in Poland and Yugoslavia to force it overseas.
