In Memorium: SvenTheBold

Post by pompack »

David Nelson (aka SvenTheBold) passed away last month. David was my respected opponent for over ten years and during that time we completed eleven games of AE as well as ten games of WitE. Ten years ago I was retired and David was a veteran and partially disabled so we both had ample time to devote to AE. While we never met face-to-face, there were very few days in that decade that we did not swap turns, a bit of gossip, and various tidbits about real life. I will miss him

RIP David

Thanks for letting us know, Pompack, and for sharing memories of your time with Sven. That's a long friendship.

Very sorry to hear this.

I did not know very much about him.
He loved the game and I believe he also played War in the East.

I hope he is at peace.
