While trawling through the web for details on various things of interest to my work on a Historical Mod for WarPlan I came across this US Department of the Army Pamphlet (20-261a) of March 1955.

All 213 pages of it!

If you are interested in the planning and operations of the period, which would have been based on captured German documentation (the Allies seized a lot at the end of the war), then this has the gory details ...

Not a pretty picture!
