Dying after battle is done

Post by ineffable »

I love how the game runs on for another moment after 'Battle Complete' is shown. I've come to think of that brief piece of battle as the epilogue. Well I just had the last 2 soldiers in my HQ team get killed in that postscript. And I have a suspicion it was those 2 casualties that brought the show to a close as they caused my force morale to break.

Weird. Battle in TBF seems often almost accidental chaos.

The stuff that happens after Battle Complete are like the post-credits scenes at the end of Marvel movies.

There are only a few seconds of continuing action after the battle is signaled as complete, but yes it is 'live' and casualties or victory location capture can happen even though you can't give new orders. This was added during beta as feedback indicated the 'end of battle go straight to debrief' seemed too abrupt.
