Can't invade with garrisons warning message

In a hotseat game, toying with landing invasions in Norway after Germany took it in her first turn, I decided to try to send British units, I didn't notice I was embarking a garrison unit and when I tried to disembark it I got the warning message, so far so good. the issue is that instead of getting just one pop up the message goes into a loop and fills all the screen.
The type writing sound machine does not stop and they keep poping up at a lower pace until you press the X button to close the message.

I fixed this in the v5b which you can manually download.

Otherwise just unclicking the invasion button will stop the messages.

Then you can return to port and disembark the garrison unit.
