TF won't follow

Post by Sonny »

I have a transport TF which is supposed to follow another transport TF. The first TF is ahead of the second so I stopped the first TF in mid-ocean for the second one to catch up - but it hasn't. For approx. six turns it has stayed one turns worth of movement away from the first TF.

No wonder my invasions are a boondoggle.

Two more turns last night. Still the second transport TF will not close on the TF is is set to follow even though the first TF does not move.:(

Any clues? SOme embarrassing thing I did or didn't do? Or just a minor bug?

I'll be waiting to hear what you have to say.

Thanks:)

Just want to say thanks to Dan. He solved the problem. I had my first TF set to patrol/do not retire and the following TF set to retirement allowed. He said to change the following TF to patrol and that did the trick.

It is still a bug - although a minor one - but there is a rok around.

Thanks again.:)

Actually, that's a nice feature. Sometimes I WANT my following TF to stay behind my other TF. So, if I understand correctly, I can do this by setting the following ones to retire. Nice to know.
