Command Modern Operations update - Build 1121.5

Post by Dimitris »

Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KqlKC ... KTIgmm_B_c

To apply: Unzip contents on your CMO installation, overwriting as necessary.

This is a public beta. Standard disclaimers apply.

Changes from B1121.4
----------------------------------------

* The Land-cover, Relief-SRTM3 and BMNGv2/Relief-90 map layers now all use webp-format tiles (faster download and less disk space used).
* FIXED: Overly agressive air intercept mission
* Tweaks for fuel-discrepancy between airgroup lead & wingmen due to formation keeping (NOTE: To a large extent this is a RL phenomenon and unavoidable, however we also tweaked behaviors during group form-up and loiter and relaxed the formation precision threshold so that wingmen spend less time chasing their station)
* FIXED: When bypassing a waypoint, units were not applying the speed/alt/doctrine commands of that waypoint
* FIXED: ORBAT window takes a long time to show up in multi-thousand AU scenario
* FIXED: Fuel quantity text (on top of fuel progress bar) is difficult to read when fuel quantity gets low
* FIXED: Exception in "Edit Action" window when creating new "teleport in area" action if no units are pre-selected
* FIXED: Lua - some device wrappers not showing in public version
* FIXED: Some number keypad hotkey values missing

For the new map layers, do we need to clear the old files in cache/folder? Thanks.

No, they use new sub-folders inside the cache folder, so you'll get them regardless.

If you want to save some disk space, you can now delete these folders:
[CMO]\WW\Cache\LandCover_300
[CMO]\WW\Cache\Relief_90
[CMO]\WW\Cache\Relief_SRTM3

When trying to open this update I get the error land-cover map files not found aborting.

Any help?

This means that the folder [CMO]\GIS\LandCover is missing. You probably need to re-install.

Thanks Dimitris but i have been having issues with unzipping the last two updates, when I tried again it now tells me there was a error overwriting shaders and extraction failed, I had this same error with build 1121.4

I tried using both winzip and 7-zip

No all my protection is disabled when I update CMO/CMANO don't worry about it I can wait for official release. I am sure it's something on my end as no one else has reported similar issue. Thanks for trying, and for the update you guys are the best!!!

I had a similar issue. You might try downloading the newest WinRar version. It's free. Worked for me when my ancient WinZip gave errors.Good luck

You could also just unzip it into a temporary folder (retaining zip folder structure) and then try copying the contents to CMO.
