DD Mine resupply

How do you get the DDs to resupply with mines? Mine sit in port and do no get new mines and I can't figure out any way to make them get mines.

The number of mine fields that each Major can have in play is tied in to their level of Naval Warfare research, so if you attain higher levels in that then you'll be able to lay some more minefields.

Thanks. So then I need to do the research then. Once the level goes up, how do I know I have mines available and how do I get the mines to a specific destroyer?

You`ll get the report of newly developped researches at the start of your turn. Mines aren't attached to specific units, any destr. can lay them as long as they are available. In the unit's menue there's a mine symbol, if it's yellow a mine is available.
