Ireland Surrrender

I thought that it would be useful to have Ireland as a base for my anti-sub warfare bombers, and I happen to have the Canadian Corp on it's way across the Atlantic.

So I land in Belfast, Declare War with Canada on Ireland.

I move down to Dublin...take it. Ireland surrenders.

The hexes I took belong to UK...so far so good..but the rest of the country belongs to no one. I cannot enter them and the tooltip shows no country name for ownership.

The War Panel shows that Ireland has surrendered. Oddly, it shows peace with UK et al..except Canada.

Have Canada DOW on Ireland

It should have automatically DOWed Canada for you though. I'll check it out.

But if you DOWed just with Canada then only Canada is at war with them
