Not the most experienced player - had a snsfu in by PBEM

Some of my forward airforce bases were over run -

Now in Commander's report I get RESERVE or TEMPORY PO (2) for some of the units.

What do these mean and how can I get them back into battle.

To get RESERVE units in, pull up an airbase unit and ASSIGNED. From there, click ASSIGN FROM NATIONAL RESERVE.
