Quick question - Saving MP games before finishing

New MP player.
If I am mid-turn and need to step away from the game (briefly or sone time), can I save and return?

It appears that process does somewhat same thing as ending turn though my turn is not over?
Or must you play through the full turn, then end, in one session?

If you press the exit button (NOT the big red end turn button) at the bottom of the top right menu, it will save the turn to the server for you to come back

"Quit" (bottom option, below save) - Will do.
