Is there anything tha Italy can conquer such as Greece and get the MPPs or will they always go to Germany? I'm looking for ways to help Italy get stronger.

If you let Italy capture Greece, i.e., move a unit into Athens, the MPPs will go to Italy. This would also be the case for any other capture country.

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking of trying to let Italy get the Balkans. A bad idea? Any other thoughts about Italy would be greatly appreciated.

The biggest consideration is that if the Italian's surrender to the Allies then any country under their direct occupation will be liberated, which will open up a lot of ports in the Balkans if either Yugoslavia or Greece are liberated suddenly and not garrisoned by German/minor forces. This is probably a bigger issue in PBEM then single player.

Unless you've done a poor job of NM management when Italy resigns its pretty much over.

Its a popular tactic to let Italy take Greece so they get some extra MPP, probably a good idea.

Optimizing Germany (w/minors) most important.
